After all this time

I spent five years at his side, learning and loving a man I thought that I would spent the rest of my life with. Then like most times when a person gets far too comfortable a tsunami hits and you wake up the next morning realizing that the person you thought you knew was a stranger the entire time. I never thought I'd have to give him up. I never thought I'd have to wake up and experience what life would be like without him, but I just woke up and here I am, living in a world that's not with him.
