Reym, a young and mute pilgrim, perishes in the dunes of Saradon. A final, pallid breath escapes his mouth, as his life, along with every aspiration and every grand wish, comes to a crashing end. That is how it should have gone, though the powers that be felt it necessary to keep him bound to the mortal realm, like a puppet dancing on a string. Now in the service of his 'savior', the demonic entity Malphas, flanked by a mysterious and kindly puppet, Reym must continue on the quest he had undertaken before his untimely demise: to travel across land and sea to the holy city, the Pale Palace, and rid his body of the foul curse that haunts him. On his path he encounters trials, friends and foes, as the world peters out and it too speaks its final words. Will the countless tribulations along the way force him to grow, or will they break him altogether?

Cover-art by Yoshitaka Amano. I do not own the images or the music shown in this story, only the words. Also, considering English is not my native language, there will be some major grammatical screw-ups. Thank you for taking the time to read this brief summary, and if you decide to venture deeper into this (likely quite boring) tale, then I thank you even more deeply!

Champion and Wordsmith winner of the Phoenix Wars; Winner of the Wicked Awards and Galaxy Awards for Paranormal; and Second in the Phantom Awards for Paranormal. There are some things in this world that are clouded in an unspeakable darkness, that cover blue skies with mystery and deception; and hide under bright lights like tigers in camouflage, ready to strike out at our fragile human hearts. Voices that have no faces, beckon and tempt us into traps of terror and destruction- and we run to them like mindless cattle. But the truth is, those voices do have faces. In fact, they have names, and lives, and their purpose is to destroy you. They are called demons- and they are very, very real. Roman Axon isn't human. He isn't completely a demon either. He is, what they would call, a Hybrid. By day he lives a normal human life, but by night he becomes one of your worst nightmares- a shark in our blood-infested waters. Come across him- and there is little hope left. However the constant emotional battle between Roman's human and demonic feelings has left him torn between light and darkness, unable to escape from either. The chance meeting of Carmen Summer will change his life. He will have to choose between the power of the demonic realm and the woman he loves. But he is blocked by many obstacles- including himself. Can love win over darkness? Or will Roman's world collapse into an inferno where he sees his hearts desires burn into dust and ash?

"You're a devil," she whispered, her voice raw and filled with a mix of anger and desire. Dimitrio chuckled, the sound deep and resonant, reverberating through her like a bass note in a symphony of seduction. "And aren't you this devil's heaven?," he breathed against her skin, his mouth moving to her neck, his teeth scraping lightly against her flesh. She shivered, her body responding to him. "Monster," she swore at him again, the word a whisper that held no real heat. Her voice was a tremble, a soft protest that was lost in the sea of passion that surrounded them. He chuckled, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Call me whatever you want, as long as you come screaming my name." His voice was a dark promise, the arrogance in his tone sending a fresh wave of heat through her. *************** Under moon's dark veil, Princess shivers, devil grins. He takes her to wail, Hell turns heaven as night spins. The devil's heart became her throne *************** 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝟭 of 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 When Greek mafia don Dimitrios Valentzas plans on stealing one of the mysterious Emerald in the world, he doesn't expect to take an additional souvenir - Royal Princess Nakshathra Varma. Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)

Jack and Ann have taken me on a great adventure full of mystery and incredible technology, I hope you'll join us. I know you have a lot of reading choices, but if you have space left in your literary adventure cup, please join Jack and Ann as 2021 turns into 2022, happy reading! __ The demon whispers inside Jack's mind. "They are not worthy, they are cattle, these new humans you covet. The so-called creator has betrayed you, replaced you with these organic imitations. Slaughter them all." It's funny, not in a ha-ha funny way, but a sad, my madness doesn't make sense type of way, Jack thinks, because wasn't he human? Worse still, the voice comes with impulses that are hard to resist. Violence usually ensues. That's why he joined the military. A way to channel his urges into mind-numbing physical effort and war. It works for a time. But alcohol and fighting can only carry on for so long. Finally, he realizes, his only way out is suicide. But when he opens his eyes, he's in the In-Between. The creator has other plans for him, and she won't take no for an answer. Apparently, this isn't his first life and if he doesn't free her from her prison, it won't be his last. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn't understand. It's a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn't remember...yet.

The White Hare

45 parts Ongoing Mature

Dying from unknown means, a man suddenly finds himself reborn in another world as... a hare? Not a rabbit or a bunny. A hare walking on two legs. Now, with a system straight out of an rpg or an isekai lightnovel, "Jack" has to survive being at the bottom of the food chain in his new home. Luckily he has a great mom and dad to help him out. During his journey the man will end up using his experience in his past life to help his new family in this one. Most conflicts arise from the young buck sticking his nose into places he shouldn't or allowing his... unique tastes lead him on his next hijinks. [Also anyone is free to comment. I appreciate the reactions and feedback.]
