Dylan "DC" Hunter, a young man struggling to deal with his circumstances. He finds himself in trouble with the law, which lands him behind bars. In his heart, he wants a better life but feels like he's not meant for anything other than a life behind bars like his father. As DC deals with the challenges and politics of life behind the wall, he meets a man with a different plan who teaches Dylan a different way to think.
Can DC accept this new way of thinking and change his ways or is he doomed to a life in prison?

"Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come. Dylan Arden feels unloved after his mom abandons him to work overseas and makes him live with his uncle in London who sexually abuses him and he feels like he can't get away from him or his evil whip. Losing hope in life he turns to drugs and drinking. He lost hope in love and doesn't trust anyone because he thinks if he did they would disappear from his sight. Dylan is traumatized by his father's death and he is the only one that knows the truth behind his father's death and he plans to take it to the grave. Until Lucas Mason, a soccer pro at their school shows up in his life. Lucas Mason who thinks love is a waste of time and for that he dates just for fun, not for love. His dad has hardly any time for him or his brother Matt. His mom works in outer space and the station where they study the moon and the planets. Lucas hides his feelings about his parents constantly working and covers it up by being a jerk to his classmates and friends. But deep inside his feelings are different. The person who sees the real Lucas is Dylan but in return could Dylan be able to open his heart again? And will Lucas save him from his sadist uncle? Nightwing x Red Hood (Jaydick) AU Completed! Dick lost his best friend to the Joker. He wanted to avenge Jason but Batman wouldn't let him kill. After 5 years, Nightwing meets the Red Hood and sees him as the vigilante who's willing to kill the Joker. While Batman hunts him down, Nightwing hooks up with him. He knew it was wrong but he couldn't help it. He was hot even if he didn't know who was under the Red Hood. Jason was all alone for 5 years. He needed to become someone else: Red Hood. He comes back to Gotham, running street gangs. His goal is to kill the Joker, the person who ended his previous life. But he finds that difficult when he meets Nightwing, someone working with his old mentor, Batman. He may not know who Nightwing is but that doesn't stop him from fucking him. Will Red Hood stop the Joker and get peace after 5 years? Red Hood doesn't know the identity of Nightwing and vice versa. ( I thought it'd be cool if they didn't know :) ). I tried to keep personalities of the characters like they normally are. It's written in the perspective of both Dick and Jason but it's third person. I use Red Hood and Nightwing in the other's perspective since they don't know each other. I'm a bad writer so be warned ;) Also I don't own the art. Hope you enjoy it! Tim doesn't plan on talking with Jason when he goes to crime alley, because why on Earth would Red Hood be there, right? ("Stupid fucker" Tim thinks looking back) That was mistake number one. Mistake number two is actually pouring out his emotions to Jason about his family (Like how much he hates Bruce). His third mistake was not turning off his tracker which led to a very awkward confrontation the next day at work. The first mistake started the whole situation and fucked up his life in a bad and good way (he guesses it had something to do with how sad and lonely he was before Jason came in like a wrecking ball). Realistically he knows that he could've handled the whole situation better, but what's the fun in that? It's way more interesting to become friends with the guy you replaced, used to have a crush on and stalked BETRAYING Bruce. To add to that he gets so high that he forgets his feelings until forever. Procrastination at its finest. The best part (but Tim's least favorite part) is that everyone knew about his feelings that he himself didn't know, but they were completely oblivious to how much he was hurting, except Jason.
