A Love Story
This is a love story for in truth it is our story, yours and mine. Two young people met and grew up together. They became acquainted quite by accident on the phone for a business purpose. After weeks of talking, they became very comfortable with one another's personalities and enjoyed the same sense of humor. She then asked him to come to her business for a cup of coffee. Something extraordinary happened, when they looked at one another both were silent and somewhat stunned. An electricity, but not quite, shot between them. This was an energy that neither of them had ever experienced and there were no words to adequately describe what they astonishingly felt. Tears came to their eyes and no words were yet spoken. They simply smiled and were somewhat stunned in the beauty of the moment. Instantly they understood that they'd known one another for a very long time and were simply re-uniting. When she spoke first, he heard what was somewhat like music in the melody of her voice. They were instant lovers. She was, by far, the most beautiful woman he'd ever had the honor to gaze upon. This wasn't simply a physical attraction but much much deeper. In his eyes, she seemed to be surrounded by a type of light. She's radiant. Their remembered love was coming to the surface and would continue to grow for the next twenty years. Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete
