I ran faster than I ever thought my body could take me. Tears cloud my vision, while my heart tears through my chest. My throat constricts making it harder and harder to breathe.
I rejected him. I broke our bond, our connection... I broke his trust.
The pain is the only thing I think about as the greens of trees and grass fly by, blurring into a sadistic mirage of all of our memories together.
I know I'm getting closer and closer to them. My stomach is in knots and yet I push even faster.
