This story is about adventure and is for all ages. It involves using your imagination and to remind ourselves who are still young that still use their imaginations and to those whom have grown up and have received many responsibilities amd forgot how to use our imaginations. So may this book and story inspire you to never lose your creativity and imagination. And that no matter how old we get, what we decide to do is laugh. Without humor, smiles and laughter, there will always be darkness that wins. But we all have a light inside of us. Don't EVER let anyone, (Teachers, parents, Society, etc.) ever tell you otherwise.
Emily has always been a creative person who grew up with a good mother and father. Her grandmother, however, has always been her best friend. Emily always visited her grandmother, Beatrice, in England every Summer, since she was five years old. Every year her and her grandma would have many adventures together. They would record them in a book that her grandma always wrote and drew in since she was little. But now, at the age of sixteen, Emily's grandmother has gotten more sick and weak. So Emily goes to see her for one more adventure. However, when she goes, she ends up finding out and discovering that the Adventures her and her granmother took when she was little, were actually part of another world, a place where kids could go to and feel safe. But something has darkened the entire world and is seeking to let the darkness seep into the real world. Now it is up to Emily, to decide if she chooses to help and go back to when she felt like a kid, or to ignore and let the world fall victim to nothing but darkness.
Imagine, if you will for a moment, to get into this world aka Safe Place, you entered what looks like an abandoned garden to those who have lost their imagination and creativity, but like a Thomas Kinkade painting, when you still have those two things!
