As a child, Allie had a strong bond with her only friend, Laughing Jack. Upon his departure when she leaves for New York to peruse her dream as an actress on Broadway, he promises to return to her. However, when he does come back years later, he is not the Jack she once knew at all--from his appearance to his intentions with her.
It's a lemon, you know what to expect.
I've been working on this one for about a year now. It started as a scene, but turned into a 25k word lemon. I have to say, I have thoroughly enjoyed writing it. I hope you experience the same pleasure reading it.
