Erick un estudiante de secundaria que recibe varios abusos por parte de sus compañeros gracias un rumor falso, se encuentra con una misteriosa caja mientras caminaba lo cual contenía una pequeña gatita,  el decide adoptarla y cuidarla, nombrándola shiro, sin saber que shiro en realidad no es un gato normal si no una de los  12 espíritus  zodiacales  a lo cual el accidentalmente forma un contrato con ella para ser el siguiente sucesor que cuidara las almas de los gatos.  en su camino se encontrara obstáculos que le impedirán ser el sucesor ya que en el mundo espiritual no se a habido un humano vivo sea el sucesor de alguno de los signos zodiacales.
