What happens when you break a rule in Shadowmantle? They eliminate you. What happens when a Prince and a Princess commit a crime in Shadowmantle? They eliminate them too, even when the crime is stupid and ridiculous, even when their sin came natural and there was nothing they could've done about it. 
AN ELF CANNOT FALL INLOVE WITH A MAGE. That was the rule, but love is not something you decide for yourself. No, love decides for you. This is the story of the outcome of their "unlawful" relationship, the product of which will change everything.
