Caroline Forbes is a young vampire who isn't high up on the rank system, her little family and a few others are servants to their vampire leader. So when a yearly trade comes around and the hybrids come to Carolines homeland to pick vampire slaves for their hybrid king things take a turn for the worst, when Carolines little sister Mille gets chosen for the trade.
Theres only one thing running through Carolines mind and that is to protect her little sister, so without any hesitation she does the only thing she can think of.
