Rennah St. Law wakes up from a coma and can barely remember what her life was like beforehand. All she knows is her name, the "accident", and that before she was placed in the Lab, she had a fully human body. 
Now, she is 40% robotic, a freak of nature, part of the Geniva Project. The scientists are telling her this is an honor, a milestone in human accomplishments. But as Rennah continues life as a cyborg, she's beginning to believe there's more to the project than what they say. A lot  more...

[season 1] In the near-future, mankind succeeds in curing A.I.D.S. However, something much worse fills the void, an aggressive sickness that only affects females. Though only 50% of Earth's population is at risk of contracting M.A.I.D.S., the illness impacts everyone. World War III begins as panic-stricken governments seize healthy females in order to ensure the survival of their people, but even warfare and forced breeding programs can't halt the inevitable: mankind is dying out. An international team of scientists combine existing technologies, theories, and desperation to create Synthia, a synthetic human female capable of M.A.I.D.S.-free existence and, most importantly, reproduction. Biomechanical humans, dubbed Synthias, are mass-produced, and mankind's population begins to slowly increase after being decimated by the illness and war. The cost of salvation is souls. Synthias are denied basic human rights because they are manufactured, not born. After staging an unsuccessful uprising, the facilities where Synthias are mass-produced undergo great changes. Synthia manufactories are re-opened as boutiques where a man's mate can be custom-ordered, right down to the various skills and knowledge the Synthia possesses. A truly male-oriented world emerges around this new technology. Adam, the first son of a Synthia, wants something more than a mere breeding machine. He wants a true partner and something like the "love" he only knows about from pre-war media. The Synthia he creates is something new that threatens to destroy the status quo... Adam's Synthia is not an it. It is the year 2049. Cars can't fly, yet, because of World War III holding the people of Earth back. But the war brought something new humans thought only existed in myths. Flying humans and more mutts, as they are referred to. Mina Mercury, a 16-year-old human mutt with stripped hyena mixed into her thanks to radiation from World War 3 (which Earth has managed to survive and the people are adapting in some ways that make them less human), on her way home witnesses more than one murder. Naturally, as a mutt in a human world, the murders are pinned on her instead of the two gangs. She finds herself at a place called Oaken Academy created just for mutts by the government. Her formerly pretty average life for a mutt is turned upside down when she runs into a mobster's son, Rob. On the outside, Rob is quite crude and enjoys ruining her life. He seems to love picking fights, like practically everybody else at Oaken Academy, especially with Mina's friend from elementary school. Rob changes her life and her perspective more than she can ever imagine. Fights, love, and human-animal hybrids.

From all of the things on earth, humans are the most interesting to watch. I've seen them research things, developing things, but also creating and destroying things. That's why I've been living among them for thousands of years. And all these time, I've seen humans evolve, physically but also mentally. All my stories of my lives through out history are different. And now, humans are at the peak of there break through of science with their knowledge of technology. This is a new story of mine. The public pill silos that dispense Sunlite, a one-size-fits-all mood elevating drug, haven't been refilled in months, so the citizens of Metropa turn to designer drugs like Black Magic, an addictive knock-off with terrible side effects. Having survived an overdose of Black Magic, and successfully revived by Drinama, a brain implant slipped to him as a Mickey at a job fair, Xeno earns an entry level position as an agent for secret service organization Intellegella. Garry, his handler, introduces Xeno to the industrial version of the black box, allowing Xeno's pineal gland access to synthetic sensory perception with the turn of a dial, along with the Noumenol patch, a skin absorbed drug that stabilizes his vital signs so that he doesn't suffer a cardiac arrest. Xeno's initial mission is to test the black box on the field, under Garry's watchful eye, and to locate Trianne, an ex co-worker, ex model, ex pole dancer for the Shoki Pao, gone missing and showing signs of spontaneous human combustion, an emerging side effect of Black Magic, and a public safety hazard. All he has to do is bring Trianne back to Intellegella for treatment. It's that simple . . . according to Garry.
