Fourteen year old Heron Andrews and her group of friends begin a journey they didn't want to begin. They had no idea or intention toward it before. Until when the find themselves failing in the same science class at Hamilton High School, they discover something that they couldn't do before, abilities that are unbelievable to notice with the naked eye. But when things start to fall apart when the join their powers altogether, one by one, a tragedy pops out of nowhere.
