Gia is something called a were creature, meaning she was a shapeshifter.....of sorts...but it wasn't exactly unusual. Every one in the world of Eirilia is either a demon or a were creature. The two species have suttle differences and usually don't mind each other. When Gia gets a job for the king, she soon falls in love with the captain of the guard, a sharpshooter, named wren.
