"Ashly?" Zane asked, his warm breath fanning across my skin as we sit next to the willow tree.
"Yes?" I said and snuggled against him into his warm, comforting chest. His scent overwhelming, intoxicating almost... it was so heavenly.
The evening sun had begun to set and the forest would soon be enveloped into darkness as the moon rose high above us. Our beastly form would be free tonight to run and hunt in the cold, humid forests of Michigan. My mate next to me, we both looked foreword to tonight.
"I promise I will always protect you," He whispered into my ear denting tingles down my spine. I could feel his heart beating rapidly in his chest, I turn around to see his bedazzling blue eyes. His handsomely sculpted face makes me melt inside myself.
"Zane..." I said and wrapped my arms around him, pulling myself into his lap.
"Yes, my Luna?" He asked and bared a smile that made my cheeks burn brightly.
I pulled myself foreword and our lips now inches apart I spoke for him.
"I love you," I said and our lips met in a kiss. I felt him wrap his arms around me and pull me further into the kiss. This moment I wish could never end.
