Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal. That's what, out of all possible scenarios, Ash never imagined that his own friends and family would betray and even try and kill him. Now though, Ash must rise above this and prove the traitors wrong, starting with redemption. He heads over to the Orange Islands for sanctuary and to start a new journey, a new start was just what he needed, with new friends, new Pokemon, and mysteries surrounding the Pokemon world. This unidentified man also claims to be a member of the criminal syndicate Cipher. It's suspected that they aided Team Plasma's last revival, but why would even Team Plasma know the location of a baby who supposedly drowned when he was only one week old? Naturally, Neptune and his friends want to find out for themselves, but this is an International Police issue as well as a personal one. They send two promising young officers, Triton and Sam, but that won't be enough. They also enlist the help of a woman from Orre, Heather. She's a bounty hunter, hacker, frighteningly strong Trainer and most importantly, she can see the auras of Shadow Pokémon - which may well be necessary if Team Plasma and Cipher really are working together. Evil teams aren't the only enemies awaiting these young heroes in Galar. Heather thinks she's seen it all. She thinks she's immune to falling in love, but a mysterious and eccentric young man might just prove otherwise... and it might just impact the investigation. "Over the years of evolution, the Charizard species lost its Dragon typing due to climate changes, lack of need and other factors etc." "A Pokemon evolves through battle. That is the nature of its evolution." "Anyone who dares to stand in my way. I shall pull them apart piece by piece. They shall eventually be the architects of their own destruction." Who says these dialogues? In what context and why? To get the answers to all the questions buzzing in your head, read the story. Interesting theories about Pokemon Evolution, Types etc. along with other things like battle tactics and strategies. Last but not least, it is an Amourshipping saga. Discover for yourselves, a different take on Amourshipping where Serena is already Kalos Queen and Ash is hiding a secret. So definitely more mature characters than the anime which is bound to have interesting implications for the lives of the star couple. Champion's Sword, Galar's Shield (Leon x OC) oleh TMWolf

Cassandra came to Galar running from a past she couldn't bring herself to face. Leon was running from his failure, and enemies that either wanted him on their side or dead. Be it fate or destiny, their meeting during a blizzard in the mountains was the start of a journey neither of them expected. The ending, however, is on a path wrought with danger. It's going to take everything they have to stop the madmen proclaiming themselves Kings and seem to bear some grudge against the legendary Warrior Pokemon who stopped Eternatus for a second time not long ago... But first, they have to survive the cold. Post-Pokemon Sword AU (heavy), slight slow burn. Updated weekly (Some chapters mature. Cover by me!) -------------- Some notes: 1. I don't follow typical battle format of the game. I try to be realistic and write how I feel fighting would go in the real world (i.e. no turn taking and Pokemon can act without commands if trained enough). 2. I overall try to be realistic about the world, too. Like Pokemon eating Pokemon and people eating fish/bird Pokemon (i.e., Farfetch'd, poor thing). 3. Heavily AU. I basically take the post-game plot and run with it, making it a lot darker and more intense. I always thought it was such a silly plot line so yeah xD 4. Romance is cheese because I like cheese. This is actually my first mainly romance focus to go with adventure. It's kinda slight slow burn, but still happens kinda quick! 5. I don't know all canon history of regions perfectly so I take some liberties here and with other games' stories I involve, so also some heavy to light AU's for those games/areas, too! 6. Leon's character is my interpretation of things with my own spin on it, too, so sorry if he's a bit OOC? 7. Eventual smut towards the end, you're welcome. This is the second installment in the 'Pokémon Red' series. Red, a 10-year-old Pokémon Trainer, after rejecting the oppurtunity to become the Viridian City Gym Leader must continue his quest of becoming a Pokémon Master to the Johto Region. Here he will be met with similar challenges, mainly - Team Rocket. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - This book has a crossover? A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.
