I shifted my attention towards the top right corner of my screen, the light shining in my eyes. A message appeared on-screen, the sound of the notification sending my heart racing. My breath faltered for a moment, the thud of my rapidly beating heart echoing in my mind. My mind swam, the words weaving into my brain, trying to process what I was being told. The thoughts took over my mind, my brain spelling out the message word by word.
