It really is pretty simple when you focus on the core essential items, and the good news is, wearing clothes that fit properly is half the battle. I'll say it again, for those in the back... buy clothes that actually fit you!

Tailored Suit
Most women love a man in a sharply tailored navy blue suit, nothing too baggy or trendy. This will be your "go to" suit for events, meetings and interviews. You should invest in 5-6 crisp, fitted shirts in subtle colors and patterns to change up the look of your suit. Avoid double pleats and cuffed pants-- your girlfriend does not want you twinning with her grandpa.

Good Shoes
Women have the ability to tell a lot about a man's relevance by his choice of shoe, so make sure yours are up to par. It is important to invest in 3 pairs: tough lace up boot, debonair dress shoe (like a monk strap) and a cool pair of casual kicks (leave running/workout sneakers at the gym).
