Scarlett Chambliss is just an ordinary Aussie girl with a passion for surfing. She's extremely talented and takes part in national surf competitions. Scarlett's not much of a sociable type, and she doesn't have any best friends that she can tell everything to. She's never even had a real boyfriend. She takes surfing so seriously, she thinks she doesn't have time for anything else.

After what seems like her millionth win, Scarlett's ready to pursue her dreams and take on a worldwide competition. Ditching her personal trainer, she enters Riptide Surf Camp and is put into a class with eleven other people in Australia who are good enough to compete internationally. Just when everything is going her way, two girls called Amy and Tony and a tall blondie named Luke enter her life and just about change everything she's ever known.
