HEARTBREAK AND RAINBOWS

"Damien p . . . please." Monica begged, moving back a little. She was trapped between Damien and the hard wall.

"Please what?." Damien asked, feigning innocence. He had her backed against the wall and at his mercy.

"D-Don't t-t-touch me." Monica stuttered out, her breathing shallow. His nearness making every rational thoughts fly out the window.

Slowly, yet precisely, Damien leaned forward. "Or what?."

Monica met him halfway, their lips barely inches apart .

"Am I interrupting?." Alicia asked, waltzing into Damien's office.

Damien's hands dropped from the wall giving Monica enough room to escape from under his clutches.

And Yes!.

Damien almost yelled out in frustration. He was so close to having Monica in his arms again, so close!. But no, Alicia just had to pick today out of all days to drop by unannounced. He thought to himself, displeasure evident on his face.

"No, you're not interrupting anything. . . As a matter of fact, I just remembered that I have something very important that I need to do." Monica said tightly before stalking out of the office.
