El Árbol de la tierra, el árbol más grande y viejo del mundo está a unos metros de mi espalda, delante de mí el lago más hermoso del mundo, con el agua más limpia de todas e imperturbable; que refleja perfectamente la luna llena que esta sobre mi cabeza, yo estoy sobre un claro. Donde crece el pasto más suave y hermoso que existe, a lo lejos veo grandes y altos árboles que se alimentan del lago y tratan de ocultar inútilmente el Árbol de la tierra, puedo ver incluso algunos animales que están pastando, una sierva con su cría, pastan tranquilos porque saben que están siendo protegidos, saben que estoy allí, saben que yo soy el guardián de Avalon.
