My bruised and beaten body rested on his sculpted shoulder, I could feel the shifting planes of his shoulder blades under me with every step he took, the sound of gravel echoed throughout the alleyway, his breathing was rugged and gruff. "Sorry." I quickly shot back, wanting to keep this conversation short. "And stop apologizing, I didn't do anything. I just saved you from some bitches, that's all." His rough tone faulted just a smidge. It was short but I noticed it. "What? You're gonna be my savior now or something?" I blurted out, the words just escape through my lips. I do love my sarcasm, even when it isn't needed. He stopped walking, dropping me on the ground, I looked up at him, groaning in pain. His tall figure turn to face me then bend down to my level, and griped my chin, pulling me forward. "If you can spout shit like this you can make it back to your place, right? Plus if you died on the way, I bet you wouldn't care, given the fresh scars on your wrist." He pushed me back and turned to walk off. "I'm not some Savior, sweetheart. I helped this time because your fight wasn't fair." • • • • • Trigger Warnings!! This story does contain: Violence, Homophobia, Obscene language, Drug usage.
