In a Solar System far away, there exists a planet where all of the inhabitants are deaf. They have evolved as a community over many millennia and are traders across their solar system. But when humanoids from other planets come telling them that their deafness is a disability and that they can make a lot of money if they get ear implants, the people on this planet must decide what to do. Is deafness their heritage? Or is it holding them back from joining the larger world? 

The story's main protagonist is Mist whose daughter wants to get the implant because other children are getting them. Mist has always been a fighter and already doesn't fit in because she doesn't fit into her husband's class. She is against the implants. However the rest of her husband's family is. The new change -- brought by outsiders-- will change not only Mist's family but a whole society as well.  

This story is my most honored, I think. It is taught in classes across the world, in the UK, the US, and in Poland. It was anthologized in the acclaimed anthology So Long Been Dreaming. It is about a world of deaf inhabitants who have to deal with the imperialist Federation.All Rights Reserved

Dokusei, a charming, yet cocky mercenary who supplies the gang with weapons and escorts them on missions. Additionally, there are a number of dark, powerful figures known as Reapers who have ascended to a higher level of power due to having a hefty kill count. All odds appear to be against Rex and his squad. Can he defeat the military? Will Lever leave the military and fight for the other side? Can the effects of Dark Mist be reversed?

After weirdmageddon, on the way back to their parents in California the bus Mable and Dipper were on crashed. The crash killed Mable and caused Dipper to go completely lose his hearing making him deaf with no options to regain his hearing ever again. Over the years he's managed to adapt. Learned sign language, speaks when he signs so he won't lose his voice as well even though he can't hear what he's saying, and he can read lips so he's able to communicate with people even if they don't know ASL. Things seemed to be approaching a new normal until his parents decide to get a divorce and he gets sent back to Gravity Falls while they figure it out. All of a sudden he's back in the one place he's been avoiding from all the trauma it caused him. Back in a place where no one understands him and treats him like he can't do anything for himself. Back with a faimilar demon who has yet again found himself drawn to the young boy.

We are friends and some of Bella' Moon Morten deafblind pupils. Apart from Alberta We were also all children of rape. Even though Ansel wasn't aware of this and feels ever so cut up when she found out. But it explained why her mother sent her away to be Educated. Alberta's father didn't rape her. He was just a complete jerk who wanted Alberta and her triplet sisters dead. Alberta mother still has a written argument in block capital with a lot of exclamation marks. Everything was written since Alberta's father wouldn't learn any sign language and Alberta's mother is Deaf . She doesn't lip read. So all their brief conversation were written on napkins. We are also all twins , triplets or septuplets. But many children were during the war. The demons were forever breeding us in litters. Ansel is the eldest at 23, Alberta is 21, Ursula, Ruby, Lisa, Rani are 16 and I am 14. Our degree of deafblindness also varies: Ursula and Ansel are completely Deafblind. Alberta is deaf and partially sighted. Rani Ruby and I are blind and hard of hearing And Lisa is hard of hearing and partially sighted.

This is a story about a deaf character who has lived in a strict religious home. One day he get cochlear implant and instantly hates hearing. His mother instinst on keeping them but he does not. He mother tells him he is not perfect that these are a gift from god. He begans to see he's mother ways are not his and infact abusive, as she harms him and he's been trying to protect the family that doesn't love him back. When his mother is discorvered to be hurting the kids his world changes he is living with his girlfriend and is fighting for an attorney as well as stay on good terms with his sister.

They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.
