This is a Fairy Tail fan-fiction: Natsu X OC (Serenity Rose, the Water Dragon Slayer). There are also some Gray moments if you prefer the Ice-Make stripper-boy.

~***~

Natsu appeared next to her, falling to his knees and cupping her bloodstained face in his large, calloused hands. "Serenity... Serenity... Serenity," he chanted over and over, his dark-eyes filling with tears. "You're going to be okay." Leaning over, he kissed her forehead. "You hear me! You're going to be okay."

"Na...tsu," she croaked, her eyes slowly fluttering closed as she no longer had the energy to keep them open.

~***~

Serenity Rose has a destiny.

She doesn't know what that destiny is exactly. However, between being abandoned by her dragon when she was twelve, getting adopted by the Heartfilia family, meeting Natsu, and joining the guild of her dreams, she can tell it's a weird one.

(A FAIRY TAIL FANFICTION) Nothing changes the fact that Fairy Tail has the best wizards, right? Wrong. Because they betrayed me. My dear friends and mentors. Family? Friends? Comrades? What's that? They don't exist in my eyes anymore. We used to be happy. It didn't start off well, but when you found me, it was amazing. I was happier than I had ever been. But all that was destroyed when you left me and went over to them. I still had Natsu, Gray, Erza, Happy and the rest. But you both were gone. How were we supposed to fight now? Was there even a point anymore? I even sympathized with our enemies. It was the betrayal I couldn't get over. #1 in fire magic ( 07/01/20) #1 in crystal magic (12/21/19) **BOOK EXTRACT?** 'What do we do if something happens?' Gray asked, 'If the thieves enter our house?' 'You signal us immediately,' Erza said. 'You will not face them alone, no matter how weak or strong they are. Got it, Gray, Natsu?' They nodded hastily. 'Erza,' I said. 'That applies to you too, you know.' Erza turned to me. Gray and Natsu were shaking their heads vigorously as if trying to warn me. I gave them a death glare in return and looked at Erza. She sighed. 'You're right,' she said. Gray and Natsu looked at her like she suddenly sprouted wings and was singing "I'm a happy Neko-chan!" Well, it wasn't entirely impossible, since she could fly in some of her armours, but the singing was an entirely different story. 'Right,' I said. 'But what will be our signal?' We all thought about that, even Happy. Then finally, Dragneel bust out, 'Well, what's our magic for?!' We all stared at him. Then I sighed. 'As much as I hate to admit it,' I said. 'He's right.' Dragneel nodded eagerly. 'I'll blow fire,' he said. 'I'll....' Gray paused. 'Make snowfall?' I gave him a disgusted look.

[completed] It's just another day at FairyTail, when Lucy enters the guild; a small smile across her lips, and her keys attached to her waist. The guild is being as rowdy as ever, the boys throwing chairs at each other as Erza tries to get them all to settle down. Except that Lucy can't seem to find Natsu. "Mira..." Lucy mumbles as she takes a seat at the bar, her eyes still searching for her partner. "Hm?" She asks, placing down the cup that she was cleaning. "Where's Natsu?" Mira's posture suddenly shifts, she leans over closer to Lucy, grabbing the edge of the counter. "Lucy..." She warns. "You have to stay away from Natsu. Just for a little while..." "Eh? Nani?" "Natsu isn't quite right for now. He'll be fine, but you have to stay at home for a few days." "Mira... What are you talking about?" She asks, confused. "I don't expect you to understand. You just have to trust me." "But it's his birthday this weekend... I made special plans to celebrate. Knowing Natsu, being sick won't stop him from hanging out and going to a buffet." She giggles. "He's too sick, Lucy. It's better for you both if you stay away from him for the time being. Just go home and rest, he'll be fine in a couple of days." Mira tells her, grabbing her arm and leading her to the door. "Eh? But Mira-" "Go Lucy." She pushes her out of the guild doors. "What has that Baka done now?" She mumbles, heading back home.
