With the announcement of the latest iPhone X, there's been a lot of speculation on its capability for Augmented Reality, or AR. With the release of iOS 11 comes ARKit, which may well be one of the most powerful AR programs yet. But it seems that a lot of these AR programs are just interesting tech demos or distractions. What's the actual point of Augmented Reality?
