Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.

It's hard to trust people, especially the ones who make you feel really good really fast. But you must have discernment in this life or there'll be consequences. M is your Northern California bred protagonist who has a plethora of friends sandwiched in her daily routine. She's just like you, she works, she drinks after work, she goes home. But then there's a guy....there's always a guy isn't there? This is how she and her small universe copes.
