Lucifer Morgenstern is hardly a paragon of virtue. He drinks too much, smokes like a chimney, and chops people up like sushi. But it is alright, Lucifer is God's favorite angel. It's all rainbows and unicorns until Heaven is invaded by demons. Found guilty of committing high treason, he is tossed out of Heaven headfirst.

Lucifer wants to stop God out like a cigarette. But the devil is in the details. Lucifer needs to outsmart Him and sidestep all of the vengeful smitings. Lucifer knows that he is innocent but very few people believe an angel with a crooked halo.
