The setting takes place in a world; futuristic earth, that has recessed into a second dark age, only with a twist. This world has now willingly rejected all forms of knowledge and advanced intelligence. Why? If knowledge is power, and mankind thirsts for power, why would they reject knowledge? Also, what is it about this program of sorts to take children of intelligence from their home an breed them into warriors that threatens humanity's fate?
