He was like a drug. slowly painfully poisoning you, but having you back for more. 
He was like a broken wheel. Every time you come close to fixing that wheel somehow the wheel breaks and breaks you too. 
He had every girl swooping down to his level. Slowly gaining their trust, love them and protect them. But once he gets bored. Oh, trust me you will know that he has gotten bored. He will expose you. basically ruining your life. 
But some girls don't get it. You cant change him. 
It is like playing with fire but this time I'm not getting burnt.
