"I just don't understand, Chat. I thought...all this time...," she clenched her fists at her sides and stared up at him, "What changed?"

Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower.

"I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe.

Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers.

"We cats tend to stray."

While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well.

But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups.

Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end?

Because this cat's curious,
And his bad luck might just start catching up to him...

Lately, she had been following Adrien and Lila after hearing the rumour of them being together. The situation made her upset, but her stomach also hurt from the anger she was feeling. She clenched onto her stomach and willed herself not to cry, but instead, her legs gave way and she landed on her knees, more unsettling anger rushing through her body like large waves. This was too much to handle. As tears escaped from her eyes, Marinette didn't notice the small dark butterfly fluttering towards her. Instead, she covered her face and forced herself not to scream, tried to get up from her knees and walk away, pretending she hadn't seen anything.
