The girl stepped back, slightly bewildered and frightened by his sudden change of composure.
"* listen, bucko. * down here, things are different. * down here, you could get killed for sayin' shit like that. * so watch it."
She gave a curt nod, watching him turn and start to stalk down the path.
He continued his words, throwing them over his shoulder. "* these people are abused, kid. * tch... abused souls...

Frisk, a child who ran away from all her torment and abuse, ran to the fated mountain - Mount Ebott - in hopes of never returning. Unfortunately for Frisk, her plans were ruined when she fell into a place as abused as the home she came from.

You climbed the famous Mt. Ebott to prove to a group of your friends that humans don't disappear when they go up the mountain. While walking around the peak, you trip over a root in the ground and fall forward, expecting to hit the ground. Instead, you were met with open air. As you fell down the large hole, you let out a shrill scream before hitting the ground and blacking out. Fallen Under is a full-length fan-novel of the game 'Undertale' set in 'Underfell'. This work will not have anything sexually explicit, though there is a (major) gore warning. It is light of heart, but some dark themes including suicide, abuse, and murder are explored. Mt. Ebott is famous for the woods that a child may wander into and never return. In legend, monsters snapped up children from villages, hid in dark corners, and ate the souls of the weak or unprepared. When a young child chooses to flee into the mountain rather than face human capture, they find out that these monsters might not just be characters in old children's stories. Frisk Foster, an eight-year-old child cursed by hereditary blindness, falls into a cavern full of merciless monsters, all of which want nothing more than to steal their soul. Armed with only their sense of justice and kindness, Frisk must travel across the underground to get back home. Yet when faced with the terrible truth of the consequence of their escape, can they truly find the will to complete their mission?
