They say you should never trust a Survivor until you know what they did to survive.
It's almost New Year's day. So close you can almost taste the feast that Cassidy always promises to make but never really follows through. The world was on the brink of a new century, a century that promised hope and restoration to a damaged world. And the restoration begins with capturing all the Survivors. A name the scientists have created for those that didn't die, for those that might live on into eternity. Ivy Miro is one of the Survivors, but she's also on the most wanted list because, apparently, the Survivors are dangerous. Cassidy, Ivy's best and only (living) friend, takes them on an adventure through the wintery woods to, hopefully, find shelter away from the Hunters. Maybe with some luck, the pair might survive the brutal winter and meet some new friends along the way. But, maybe Ivy will get caught by one of the Hunters and taken in. Who knows what will happen with Cassidy leading their adventurous escape?

She is also Caleb's "sister". Since Bradly is an ass towards both Ella and Caleb they decided to join forces and stick together. Bradley (Brad) is 16 and also has secrets. He doesn't have friends and is kinda shy. He has a hatred in his heart towards the world and no one knows why. Caleb is 14. He is like Ella's brother. They sick up for each other and do fun things together. He loves his dad and doesn't see the wrong in most things. One day Caleb tells Ella that Bradley and him are going on a trip with their dad and that she should go. She said yes, of course. Little did she know, what started out the shooting lessons in the middle of the woods would turn into their worst nightmare. Bradley has to reveal some secrets along with Ella and he has to start using his brotherly love and instinct to survive. What happens when Ella discover the biggest secret the boys have.
