Victoria, who has just been released from jail, promises to live up to her dead grandmother's wishes and never commit a crime again. On the streets after her release she catches sneaky Donghae stealing food and on the verge to do something good she chases him and jumps him. The two get into a fight in an empty courtyard before they realize that a murder is taking place. When the murderer escapes they try to save the victim but instead they're handed a heavy diamond necklace and promise to deliver it to its owner. Victoria leaves the necklace to Donghae and doesn't expect to run into him again however on the same day Donghae delivers the necklace Victoria is tracked down by a mob belonging to the murderer. In an attempt to save her life and get back the necklace she needs to find Donghae. Their lives fall out of order and into each other when they begin to find out why the perpetrator wants the necklace so bad. Secrets of Victoria's parents, who she's never met seep out, and they're both pushed into a world they've never known before.
