In the year 2300 after world self destruction, every few years a family has to send their eldest boy out to the Revolution Army where they go to help rescue people from the mass, world wide devastation and fight off the Rebels.
Unfortunately for Miss Lena Fernandez, there are no boys in her family, aside from her father. So, in a turn of events as the oldest child of the family, Lena will be chosen to fill the spot.
After years out on the field, Lena is sent home early due to severe PTSD, outbursts, and unpredictable behavior. Something had changed Lena besides the things she's seen. The way the Revolution works was sickening to her, and she decides she wouldn't be a part of it anymore.
After making an escape attempt in the middle of no where, she travels for days in her own. Close to the brink of death, and even thoughts of suicide, a group of soldiers of the Rebellion go out for a supply trip and find her. They take her as a hostage, understanding where she had come from.
In the events further, Lena meets Harry Styles, the leader of the Rebellion, finds her place in the world, and discovers that there is more to the world than just killing fighting. Working alone side together, the ruthless leader ends up falling for the broken soldier and ends up turning something catastrophic into something outrageously, irreversibly, beautiful.

If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it.
