Bloodthirsty

It started around four months ago. People stopped showing up to church, rich people carelessly began to spend their money, and strange things began to happen. One night you're parents would cook you dinner and be there for you, the next they're gone without a trace or clue of what happened to them. Then strange stories emerged from home owners of the woods all the way to town and further on. Stories that seem like they couldn't be true. Of a monster in the woods who, in various versions may have, lived in a cottage, tree, burrow, etc. that would come out at night and steal your relatives, never to be seen again. But then bodies started to show up. They appeared closer and closer to the border of our town and where the woods starts. And every day more and more people go missing, and we have no clue how to stop it, or even what this thing/s is. We are completely unprepared for what is coming. And it may be the end of the world as we know it.
