In just a few days, they grew closer, developing trust and perhaps even liking each other. But they were just kids, with big expectations and a different outlook on reality. Shaking his head as if for a split second he thought that would rid the terrifying thoughts that swam through it. Maybe the dye will kill his thoughts? If only it were that easy. Defeated Phil Lester runs from his past life hoping to find a peaceful new beginning. He is greeted by a quaint coffee shop nestled in the middle of a quiet town constantly plagued by rain. But how can love survive, when death is looming and one half doesn't even realize it exists? The world is a dangerous place, and even with the help of their not-quite human companion Cat and and group of newfound friends, there are new, unfound struggles in store for the pair and a secret neither of them will see coming.
