When Cassandra gets out of prison, she has two options - pay back to those, who sent her there in the first place or start a new life. She makes a choice, but things don't exactly work out the way she had planned them.

"You could have gotten us both killed!"
"Well they were supposed to kill you anyway, so what do you care?" We were both yelling at each other.
"I think your roommate needs an explanation more than I do right now." He said now more calmly, staring at Aurora, who was behind me.
She was sitting on her bed paralyzed, eyes and mouth wide open. A book she was reading had fallen onto the ground.
"Don't worry about her, she is the expert on weird."
"Doesn't seem like that to me."

Kylie survived the brutal destruction of her pack only to discover her cold alpha mate was the one responsible for the brutal slaughter of her family and pack mates. She can't forgive and she won't forget. Kylie cooperates with his demands while she searches for a way to free the remaining survivors and herself. Success teaches her just how complicated mate bonds can be and gives her the chance to choose her own fate. "Screw the mate bond. If I went for his throat while he was driving in human form, I might be able to kill him right now, and if I didn't succeed, the resulting accident might. I leapt for the front seat, powerful jaw ready to rip out his throat as he had ripped out my family's to take my revenge. Without even taking his left hand off the wheel, he blocked me by getting his right forearm between my jaws. I bit down as hard as I could, wishing to break his bones and sever the limb. Worse, I felt the tingles of our first contact where violence had connected us. The iron of his blood mingled with the other scents around me." (This is a dark story, but not the stereotypical one where she falls in love with her captor. This is the story of escape from a toxic relationship and finding healthy love.) MATURE content including violence, dubious consent, intimacy, and mature and other possibility upsetting themes like threats of suicide and miscarriage. Not intended for the 18- crowd, sorry. #1 in Protective (10/23/21, 02/02/22) #1 in Pack (10/24/21)

"The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.

A desert-town math whiz meets an ambidextrous artist, a Scorpio... in the wake of a best friend's death, two white envelopes that freak people out, and a diamond pearl that might be LSD. In the outskirts of Las Vegas, freshman Aurora (a.k.a. Ari) takes refuge in calculus and probability problems to escape the demons of her painful past. Math was what the prestigious prep school Staglight Academy had recruited her for-her, a girl from the wrong side of the train tracks. Plus, numbers are logical; math makes sense. This predictable world built on immutable mathematical theorems doesn't plague you with chronic insomnia, doesn't let Katrina-your best friend-die, and definitely doesn't hurl a tornado through the middle of the Mohave. But a desert cyclone is exactly how their twin escapes begin-Ari, running from the horrors that have chased her throughout time, and Xanexa, running from the horrors that have chased xyr across the universe. They run until they meet, when Ari comes face-to-face with xyr, an amazing artist whose sketches are so real they could come to life. From that initial encounter, she begins to discover the dangerous, life-threatening truths that had been buried with Katrina. Under an increasingly constricting web of manipulation and deceit that imperil Ari and those around her, those truths resurface with the ones about herself that had been buried beneath the sands of time-truths that are wholly irrational, just like art-- --and pi, a number xe shows her the end to, even though it is real, irrational, natural, and never-ending.

AUTHORS NOTE: This is undergoing major editing. I started writing this when I was young, so please just accept what I've done and don't comment on how something is bad. Be constructive in criticism. I really enjoy the concept I've written, and I believe it to be unique. It has been known to cause some confusion so always message me for more information or clarity. All I ask is that you take time to read the entire thing before you make a judgment. Thank you and enjoy the story! Cassandra hasn't known feeling since 15. She is full of hatred and betrayal. She doesn't feel happiness. She doesn't know love. Until he came along. Just the sight of him made her feel. However, there is a slight problem, he's her step-brother. 19 year old, Alex Levon, is alpha of the Night Bound pack. He was chosen because he was ruthless and cold-hearted. Then, one day, a beautiful girl comes to the pack. This girl's father was the Alpha before himself. His wife was his own mother. His wolf tells him mate. There is a slight problem, she was already mated, sort of, and he's her step-brother. Hunter was a player. He left for three years and then came back. He always got what he wanted and women practically threw themselves at him. However, on the first day back, he sees the most beautiful girl in the world. His wolf tells him mate. Oh and did I mention that they're they're step-siblings? However, more is in store for Cassandra. More than the two mates she thought she would need to choose from. Things she deemed impossible. And when the time comes, will three people be able to join forces against the greatest of evil? Even after all the pain?

He walks forward, pressing the blade into his throat. His skin is taunt against the serrated edge, and blood beads around it until it drips down his neck in a crimson trail. My eyes widened, wanting it. He is looking at me with those dangerous, glinting green eyes, daring me. "Kill me, then. If you feel nothing, you can kill me. Then you can leave. The choice is up to you. It always has been," He whispers. His words leave me as cold as the blade at his throat. We will rule the dawn of a new age, we will complete our bond, and you will forget about her. Make your choice." I can hear my heart beat in my ears, and I swallow agaisnt the rush.
