I'm an exchange student and an orphan, I'm heading to Karakura Town in Japan, from the U.S. mind you, but of course I refused to leave without my two favorite people in the whole world, my boyfriend and best friend; our names Caitlin, Jesse, and myself, Kai... and this is just the beginning of our crazy, yet fun adventure. He fought it bravely as it attempted to devour his friends. Then the moment before it was all over for his friends, a Soul Reaper named Inari Himura appeared and was able to distract the hollow for a time. She too was pushed to the point of losing, then in a moment of desperation Kenji agreed to the transfer of Soul Reaper powers and saved his friends. Then as their time together went along, Inari was located and forced to return to the Soul Society for her transgressions. Kenji and his allies then dedicated themselves to saving Inari, but as their mission progresses an even more diabolical plot began to surface. Hitsugaya is in charge to notifying about the tournament to Ichigo and Rukia who are currently living in a rented apartment. Later then, he gathers some of his friends along with Rukia, Yoruichi and Urahara to participate in the tournament. The solution the adults come up with to help ease tensions between the children is to form a Shinigami's Kids Society. Disclaimer - I don't own Bleach. This is both my NaNoWriMo project for 2014 as well as part of the Bleach Writing Divercity challenge. It is for l-20, which is to write over 100k for a multichapter or series over one NaNoWriMo and the month before/after. Special dedication for this series also goes to Lucanite who wrote Shinigami Kids Society as she and that work are a major inspirations for this piece. Story diverges from canon plot as of chapter 603. Finding Friendship has been in the plans for around four years.
