Lily Tome is a 16 year old beauty who thinks she isn't anything but unworthy. Living in a world where her love is bound to another, she finds her favorite fashion model is the one who she is tied to by destiny. Once she discovers this however, she doesn't think she deserves him and goes into hiding. Ashton August, her soulmate, has some other ideas in mind as he discovers her school and looks before beginning to attempt to track her down.

A/N: So, the prologue is pretty short, but everything else, I swear, is a lot longer. This book was the first I ever wrote and completed, second I ever attempted to write and I'm very happy with how it turned out but just like everything in life, it isn't perfect. So any feedback you would like to leave for me will always be greatly appreciated. With much love, I hope you enjoy the story.

Looking at him from across the cafeteria my heart just stops. He bites his lower lip slightly as he reads the following words off of his new book, adjusting his hair from time to time. Until you find your soulmate the world is in black and white until you meet your soulmate. When you turn 18 a tattoo of your soulmate's first word to you appears on your arm. If you're older than your soulmate you stay 18 until he/she/they catch up. When Harry wakes up on his 13th birthday he notices two things. 1. The room is in color. 2. In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away.
