Here is the story of a lost soul and a child who never thought they would have a friendship as unique and as strange as this one. Never in a million years did Dark think he'd get roped into something like this, and he doesn't regret meeting Juliet at all.

[So with "Who Killed Markiplier", I learned that Dark's normal name is actually Damien. I didn't know this until now because I didn't watch the livestream it was mentioned in. Point is, years ago, long before "A Date with Markiplier" when everyone had their own version of Dark, I had one version (of several) where his real name was Damien. Not because it meant anything, just because I liked the name and it started with a "D" so it worked. So, I decided to make it into a story.

This is one of those things where Dark was pretty harmless but could look intimidating af if he wanted to. Also, this is as far from canon as you can go, you've been warned about how far from the original this short story is.]

(Italics and bold are Dark talking and just italics is Juliet. Their dialogue is the only specific one. And Mark's, whenever he comes into the story, will be the same as Dark's but underlined.

𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹 & 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗼 'Poor little soul.' A pure, innocent soul forced to face the harsh realities they said. A soul that was led down the path of darkness, One that was bent and made to be other's nightmare, only to end up deemed nature's lost cause. How tragic, right? Wrong. Because this, this is not nearly as simple. You see, mostly, if not always, the only real difference between a hero and a villain is a matter of perspective- WHO is telling the story. But not in his case. What if he really embodies the epitome of a real-life villain, instilling terror in the hearts of all those who cross his path, or even hear whispers of his name? What if he's a wicked man who ceaselessly gets whatever his icy heart craves? A monster who seeks power more than salvation, A nightmare who believes vengeance is unerring. A killing machine, devoid of heart or soul, let alone a pure one. Damien, they call him, His name whispered with terror and fear, Because Damien is not an ordinary man, but a man who clawed his way out from the depths of hell. One who's driven by a relentless pursuit of the very thing that threatens to bring downfall to the world we know. He is the reigning terror among monsters, holding dominion over the dark underworld of New York City, Even with his true identity hidden from the prying eyes of all. Damien is no ordinary man. But he is the Devil. So what happens when an angel meets the devil? When a naive runaway escapes one demon, only to find herself in the clutches of the worst of them all? ⊱ ʚɞ ⊰ ~𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 ~𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 ~𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 ~𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 Complete✔️

I hold a hand to my face, taking a deep breath. "That's fine, I'll get some later. I just don't understand how you were able to chase away the dark." Y/n turned her gaze to the wall, mumbling something so I couldn't hear. "What'd you say?" I asked. She laughed, shaking her head. "Nothing, just... something stupid." I smile and rub my thumb over her knuckles. "Come on, tell me. I'm not going to judge you." "Promise?" "I promise." She sighs before saying, "Maybe it was the luminosity of love," throwing her head back for dramatic affect. I stifle a laugh and she glares at me. "Hey! You said you wouldn't judge." "No, I'm not judging you! It just sounds funny." She huffs, glaring at the wall. I smile before mumbling, "the luminosity of love, I like it."
