❝They say it was suicide❞ When Scarlett and her friend discovered three bodies hanging from the age old willow tree, the town deemed it as suicides. A family tragedy. Nothing more. But then she discovers a note written by the killer. And then she receives more notes. Each detailing an event in her past which only she could have any knowledge of. Someone has been stalking her from the moment she stepped foot in this town. Someone close to her. Someone she trusts. She doesn't know what they want. She doesn't know who they are. For Scarlett, things only get stranger. Her boyfriend begins acting up, the murders are messier and more obvious and she has a complicated relationship with her best friend's brother who, as it turns out, is the only person she can truly trust anymore. As the dead bodies pile up, Scarlett is thrust deeper and deeper into the complicated past, and her chances of making it out alive are slowly diminishing. [Rated Mature for strong language, somewhat graphic depictions of violence and: TW for suicide, depression, self-harm and mental illness. The TW are due to a side character and not the main character.]
