Violet Oakwood did not have a perfect life, but she was content. Well, I guess you could say that. She was going through the motions: eat, sleep, work, maybe see her best friend Brielle on the weekends. She was pretty ordinary. But with a troubled past. Being constantly belittled by her mother, and trying to be more like her sister, Violet has had weight after weight placed on her. She's about ready to break. Then, comes Harry.
Harry Styles. A very not ordinary person. A singer, striving for fame. A dopey, sweet, intelligent gentleman. But with an even darker past.
Harry brings the life into Violet. Through him, she creates new friends, and finds a love she never thought possible. With Violet as a light, Harry can escape his darkness. With Harry as an army, Violet can fight her battles. Together, they make each other strong. But how long will that light continue to burn? And how strong can a fractured army really be?

[Completed] [MATURE CONTENT] [TW: Mentions of drug abuse and self-harm] "When I met her, I told myself 'no feelings'. But I guess you know by now that that's never how feelings work." As a 24-year-old working with underage drug addicts in a rehab facility, Violet Rae is less than impressed when her best friend introduces her to Harry Styles, a top tier member in a notorious drug gang in London who has a heavy coke addiction. Harry seems to have taken an unlikely interest in Violet that nobody, including her, him or his friends seem to understand. The two are an unconventional match and before realizing it, Violet is sucked into a dangerous life that goes against anything she believes in. Can two people who have gone through so much trauma and have so many - literal - scars ever really have a happy ending? [Preview] "It's pathetic, I know. I just feel... so much when you're around me. I can't get enough." His voice died down in a whisper before he flicked his eyes up to stare into mine intently. The green in them instantly took my breath away as I got lost and he gulped audibly. "And I don't just like you, Violet. I love you, I really do." My heart stopped beating for a second before it started thrashing violently in my chest. "Harry..." I sighed as I shook my head, but he cut me off. "No, I know you think it's bullshit and that it's too soon and that I'm lying or that I don't know what I'm talking about, but I do." He spilled. "There's so much you don't know about me." I mumbled, tearing my eyes away from his to focus on the pendant that was laying on the mattress. "I don't care." He whispered back and I shook my head. "I... I can't say it back." "I know." I bit my lip at the intensity of this conversation, and I wondered how long it would take Harry to find out he didn't actually love me at all. ** Started: May 2021 ** Finished: November 2021

***completed*** NOW PUBLISHED ON AMAZON Harry Styles. The strange one. The freak. The one who was too kind for his own good, trapped in a world where his job was to bring people pain. Sophia 'Spice' Winters. The dancer. The stripper. The one who who trapped in a world where her job was to provide men with nothing but pleasure. -- "What don't you understand?" Harry seethed, his hands gripping the roots of his hair. "I'm not the good guy here, Sophia. I'm bad, everything about me is fucking bad." Harry looked as if he was about to rip his hair out, his wild eyes shinning with madness. He looked unhinged, raw and angry. It should of frightened me. That look alone should of been enough to send me running. He didn't look like the shy man I first met. He looked...crazy. His fingers were coated in red, stained with the blood of another. He didn't seem to care though. "If I was you Sophia, I would run away. Run as far away as you possibly can, because I promise you...An evil part of me won't let you go, and I hate myself for that. I want you to run away, to a place that I can't ever find you. You'll be safe that way."
