The picture falls from Sidney's fingers, his knees follow it a moment later as the uncontrollable weeping sends him crashing to the ground. The sounds of his teammates and their touches are distant, like background noise. All that he can see is how happy they looked together, and how he fucked it all up. He doesn't even know how, but he did.

Warm red blood seeped onto the floor as the mouth gasped for breath, a bone sticking out of the chest of the young man on the ground. He gasped for air, his eyes blurred and fighting to stay open. The driver of the vehicle rushed to his side, she bent down and gasped at the sight of blood under the young man's head. Standing back up she backed up to her car, climbed in and drove away at speed, not caring about getting him help...feet ran towards the young man, and voices where heard talking to the emergency services.
