Have you ever heard of a female hero, fighting through her own quest?
No, you haven't. Her tales were never told, lost completely in time. After all, nobody wanted to hear the story of a small teenage girl's journey.
This is the story of Chrystephone, the daughter of a poor farmer. A girl who was not even full-blooded Greek, who was always awkward and out of place...Until her mother, a goddess, reveals to Chrystephone her true lineage, as well as the quest she must soon complete: a quest to retrieve an item said to give whoever holds it power and control over even the most powerful beasts. But how can she really be the child of an awesome immortal, and how could she of all people be the one to take on such an important and dangerous quest?

In Kara's village at the age if fifteen your wings are freed from the chains that have bound them. Once you can fly you must cross the White Desert, a land covered almost entirely in ice and snow, and the inhabitants are not all friendly. Gods and goddesses of myth live with in the constraints if the dimension beside creatures of flight and fancy; beside them hide those of dreams, be they day dreams or the darkest nightmare. Kara and her freinds now must find out how to survive in a land where little is what it seems and a villain can be made of a hero or a hero made of a villian. Atop all this sits Fate, pulling strings to make her puppets jump and keep things intresting, because she has always loved a good show. Until the show started to change, when one little girl in particular wants things to change, because if leaving means Death, well Fate has another thing coming, a new Queen is coming. Rostris: The Hunting Demigod
Being the daughter of Goddess Artemis and of a mortal in the 21st Century kind of makes a girl lonely. But with loneliness comes determination to be the best demigod out there. Rostris lives in Foloi Oak Forest alone but grew up with Amposa, a woman centaur whenever her mother wasn't around. Rostris would hunt and train everyday with her bow and arrow with her pet Laelap, a Greek mythological dog who never failed to catch what she was hunting. Rostris was abandoned at birth by her mortal father so she has no idea who he is or his family. Her mother Artemis' side up in Mount Olympus never made contact with Rostris. So when Zeus, her grandfather decides to show up asking for help, she definitely didn't appreciate it. But, she ends up taking on the quest presented to her to hunt a dryad named Ekho. Dryads are female nymphs that inhabit forests and trees. Along the way with the help of Laelap and a runaway Titan, Rostris comes along life-threatening challenges like being close to Ekho but then missing her, dealing with Hera, Zeus's wife, that is trying to kill Ekho out of jealousy because Zeus likes to consort with nymphs and will stop at nothing to do it, and also being targeted by Ekho's daughter Lynx, who can make spells and will stop at nothing to kill Rostris. But what the real test is that is presented to Rostris is trust. Trusting herself and others because trust can go a long way.Complete

She accepts her quest, taking Jake, Brendon, and Piper along with her. They travel to Spain where they meet the mysterious son of Hermes who is more interested in lying to them than he is in helping them with their quest. Facing more obstacles and monsters, Ariana soom discovers an entirely new threat, one even worse than Dr. Holt and who may have been behind Dr. Holt's madness. They get betrayed yet again, but Ariana can only take so much before she finds out everything. She also has the tendency to disrupt peoples plans.
