From a young age Lila had beeen warned not to enter the forest as there was a vicious beast dwelling in its depths. Despite all of their warnings Lila ventures into the forest after she heard an odd noise. When Lila discovers a clearing in the middle of the forest she does not expect to be looking into eyes the color of cold silver belonging to a man covered in wounds. Captivated by the man whose past is cloaked in mystery she begins to spend more time with him and discovers a heart full of warmth wrapped in pain and sadness. While she trys to uncover the secrets of his past she is determined to melt his heart that is hard as silver.
Eternally cursed to walk as man by day and beast by night Alec spends his days aimlessly treking through the forest. One morning, before the sun had even started to peak over the horizon, after a night of hunting food he has an encounter with a group of hunters and ends up being chased and falls down a cliff. When he wakes he is shocked to find himself looking into eyes the color of lilacs and having his wounds treated by the owner of those very eyes. She surprises him even further by visiting him daily and slowly begins to fall in love with her. Will their love be able to survive the trials put in their path or will it crumble and leave them to go their seperate ways?
