Brooklyn Phoenix, at 21 years old, is currently one of the youngest and most well known people in the fashion industry -- both snagging an job at a famous fashion magazine and to work as a designer of her own label. 3 years after terrible her high school years, here she is, in the Big Apple as a designer and fashion editor. Everything is finally turning out the way she dreamed it would be. Well, until someone she particularly never wants to see again not only makes an appearance, but is forced to be in her life once again. And when that someone happens to be your past-misogynistic-jerk-of-a-bully, what're you supposed to do? Her life is sort-of some topsy-turvy knotted mayhem, now. It's Brooklyn, mayhem & him. [In which it's perfectly okay to be girly and wear high heels and look fabulous while doing it.] AN ENTRY FOR @KINGELSA'S/@BEAUTYATWORK'S A STUDY IN FEMININITY CHALLENGE.

For her senior project, Dallas Delaney starts Girls Shit Too, a series of vlogs inspiring girls to ditch the constraints of femininity and adopt the perks of masculinity. That's when another girl in her English class, Adree, uses her own online platform to accuse Dallas of unfairly condemning femininity and all that's great about it. Since Dallas plans to use her vlogging efforts to win a college scholarship, she stands her ground against Adree, and their online feud goes viral. Then the principal discovers Girls Shit Too originated at his high school, where vulgar language and inappropriate actions are prohibited. He tells Dallas to terminate the project and start acting like a lady...or face expulsion. Although Dallas has been trying to win her fight against Adree, she begins to wonder if the two of them should join forces to combat the sexism of the world. But her heart tells her she wants to do more than just join forces with Adree. With college on the horizon, finding a scholarship should be more important than finding a girlfriend.
