Note: Formerly known as "Tartarus and Achelois Return" "How long has it been since this throbbing pain continued to echo?" As I look deep into the abyss, "Achelois my love we will be together once again." Achelois: one who washes away pain, is the daughter of the most powerful god and goddess. She has crystal grey eyes, long golden eyelashes and eyebrows, dark coily hair and a mahogany complexion. Her signature looks are her pure white wings which she can extract free at will. Her beauty is seen once in a thousand years to bestow this world. When she is born her mother receives a prophecy that her only child will be taken by the merciless Tartarus who has become captivated by her beauty. Fearing this prophecy her mother decides to lock up Achelois in her room bringing her stories of the outside world and training her until she is ready to face the world. But unlike her parents Achelois is weak and fragile and not nearly as strong as them, the more she trains the more she seems to fall behind. The walls between heaven, hell, and earth no longer exist. There are no more rules, and humans are becoming extinct. Only the strong and the clever will survive. The fate of the world rests on their shoulders. Jacob is missing after sending off his last true tie to earth; into the hands of the devil. Lucifer is fighting for control over a land he despises. The crew is hiding out in faery just trying to survive. Can Jacob save the day? Does he even want to? In this last installment of Jacob's broken mercenaries. All the answers will come to fruition. In a world where you're either the hero or the villain. Lucifer lies heavily in the latter category, but to Tally (behind his wall of indifference), he's just normal. Maybe a little selfish. She desires him and understands him like no other. Does that make her evil, too? How will this story end? There's so many questions, and only two possible outcomes are definite. The end or a new beginning.
