People come and go in your life, that's what happened to me, an amateur at life, I never knew the loss of someone could cause so much physical and mental pain.

He made my life better, he brought my real self out, the vulnerable, weak, broken side out. He showed me the meaning of life, then, he showed me the sense of love. Little did I know, he showed me an unbearable pain, he never intended to.

Every day since that day was a battle, with every battle I earn a new scar. Slowly, they cover up my body like paint on a canvas.

That night I cried, I cried because I finally found real happiness in a long time, although, I also cried of guilt, of guilt that I made a promise I hope to keep forever, a promise that one way or another, I'll break.

" I'll love your broken heart, I'll love it until it's mend, and I'll love it always."

"Please.." she couldn't say anything more. Her sobs didn't let her. Roman looked at her with an evil smile, not showing any sign of mercy. "I am not letting you run away like you did that night. Trust me, I'll make sure your life is miserable. I want you to feel the same pain as I am feeling right now." He roughly let go of her and Bailey lost control in her legs. She was about to fall but he held her by her arm leaving her dangling and spoke, "Accept your crime and rot in jail. If I see you roaming around freely in the city as if you haven't done nothing wrong, I will kill you! And destroy everyone and everything around you. In the quiet corners of my heart, I kept a secret garden-a fragile bloom of love that I tended with care. It was for someone who never truly belonged there. His touch was like frost on petals, beautiful yet cold. His words, sweet as honey, dripped with deception. I loved him with a fervour that blinded me to the truth sometimes love is a cruel mirage. But as the seasons changed, so did my perception, revealing the fault lines of our mismatched souls. He was the wrong puzzle piece, forcing himself into spaces where he didn't fit. And I, foolishly, tried to mould myself to his edges. The pain of loving the wrong person is a silent ache-an ache that gnaws at your spirit, eroding the very essence of who you are. It's the realisation that you've been watering a barren tree, hoping for blossoms that will never come. Yet, I clung to him, desperate for validation, afraid of the void that would follow if I let go. But life has a way of surprising us. In the quiet aftermath of heartbreak, when tears blurred my vision, I stumbled upon a different kind of love. It wasn't loud or tempestuous; it was a gentle whisper-a warm breeze that carried away the debris of shattered dreams. 𝓓𝓮𝓿 appeared like a sunrise after a storm, illuminating the corners of my wounded heart. He was the right puzzle piece missing half of my soul. His laughter was a melody that resonated with mine, and his touch ignited constellations within me. We built a love that didn't need mending, for it was whole from the start. In his arms, I found solace, and in his eyes, I glimpsed eternity. The pain of loving the wrong person prepared me for the miracle of finding the right one. It taught me that scars can heal, and broken hearts can bloom anew. Now, as I stand on the threshold of forever, hand in hand with the one who fits seamlessly into my existence, I honour the past wrong turns, the tears, and the silent battles. For they led me to this love that feels like coming home.

Eddie thought he had overcome everything. Pain-he knew it in all its forms: betrayal, loss, grief. He had faced death, brushed against it more than once. He had learned to endure, to survive, to rebuild. He believed he was finally at peace, that finding his son and rebuilding stability meant the battle was finally over. But one night was enough to change everything. One night to awaken a pain he had buried so deep that he had convinced himself it didn't exist. A pain that carves itself into the flesh, that scars the soul, that haunts the days and consumes the nights. A night when his body was no longer his own. So Eddie stays silent. He swallows his screams, hides his trembling hands, pretends that everything is fine. But his silence is poison, and with each passing day, he feels the walls closing in. It's not just that night he must confront. It's everything he has suppressed, everything he never dared to face-the ghosts of his past. His parents, Shannon, Christopher, expectations, sacrifices, imposed choices, his past. His own reflection staring back at him. Who is he, beyond what others have shaped him to be? How long can someone survive while carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders? How long can someone pretend before they finally break? Caught between silence and pain, Eddie fights not to drown. But maybe healing isn't found in forgetting. Maybe it lies in acceptance. And maybe, also, in forgiving oneself. This story is an ode to healing, to acceptance. To finding light in the darkness. To the journey of a man learning to rebuild and love himself.

When I first encountered him, I sensed a depth to him that went beyond the surface. Little did I know then that this depth would soon give rise to a bitter reality. I held onto the hope that by writing our journey, I could ignite inspiration in many hearts and demonstrate the endurance of love, even in the face of unrequited feelings. However, it seems that my aspirations fell short. *** Our story was one of you, centered solely on you and the facets of yourself that remained hidden from your own view when you look at yourself in the mirror. Your intense gaze left a lasting impact on my wounded heart, a memory that lingered until the very end. Farewell, my enigmatic Mr. Reeves, until our paths meet again. 💜
