murder short story

Just a short story I wrote a while ago. Thought I'd post it as I haven't been on her a while! The front cover is NOT mine, just a picture I found online.
I've never written a murder story before so please leave comments on what you think!

I'm scared. The walls feel like they're closing in on me as I see it approach. The silhouette of a man and a knife. A sharp chill runs through my spine as he steps towards me.All Rights Reserved

This is a novella I had to write for school and I would like some feed back. EXCERPT Pain is something I've become very accustomed to. Whether I like it or not. It sounds mental though, I know. My biggest fear is being alone, even though I already am. As I walk into the school I see them, my 'friends'. They're sitting in the quad all chatting to one another. I try to turn around before one sees me but I see one waving me over so I'm left with no choice but to go. "Hey guys" I greet them with a shaky voice. So if anyone has feedback for me or just wants to talk comment or message me anytime and I'll get back to you as soon an I can. Also I need a good book cover so if you send me one I'll use it but in the mean time I'll be looking for one.

"Oh I..I'm I'm..?" The words wouldnt form. I backed up slowly as he cocked his head to the side, confusion on his face. Then he did the last thing I expected, he smiled. A face splitting smile that sent shivers down my spine. This was it I was going to die. I hit some kind of nerve and sent him over the egde. I closed my eyes preparing myself for the worst. I opened them to see him coming towards me. I backed up until I hit wall behind me. He kept coming until he was inches from my face. He slammed his hands on either side of my head, blocking any exit. I kept my eyes on anything but his face. "I'm.. I didn't..please" What happens when the new guy in school is a convicted felon? Sadie is a good girl but she gets lost in his troubled past. When sex betryal and murder get thrown into the mix will they survive or will they crash and burn.

Getting that out of the way, let's go onto the story description... *This book contains explicit content* *EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK* I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, wasn't bothered to do. I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "Ask me 'why am I here' and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear." I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. "Talk to me... Because this might be the only time you will ever be able to talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps. "W-what do you mean...". Never in my life have I stuttered, until then.

"Good girl, now I need you to keep being a good girl, okay?" nodding, my eyes met his dark ones. His form towered over me, making me feel small and irrelevant. "Words, Embry!" He demanded as I stuttered out a quiet yes. I studied him cautiously as he walked towards the far end of the room, shuffling through drawers before stalking back towards me and crouching down. I sucked in a breath as I saw the knife in his hand, his face held a mischievous grin as it glinted in the light. "Now baby-girl, you see, as much as I hate to, you need to be punished, do you know why?" Warning! "CHARLIE!" His screams were getting closer until I saw him completely. I grabbed the knife and pointed it straight at him. "Get away from me!" I say warning him His face was red and he still stalked towards me slowly. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yell fearing the fact that didn't look scared at all. "Put the knife down." I started to back up a bit still pointing the knife at him. "I'm not telling you again, put it down NOW!" His calm persona was instantly replaced with a furious one. "Please Tho-" He came charging straight at me but I made a run for it. I ran as fast as I could with him behind me until he tackled me to the floor. The knife flew across the hallway and he was on top of me. "Thomas please let me go. I don't want to be here. Please." I say begging "You're ruining everything. It was so perfect and special just for you and you're ruining it." I can tell he was sad but more pissed off this anything. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME!" He screamed in my face. "I-" "SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!" He roars slapping me across the face. He roughly picks me up and drags me to the room. He yanked me away from him making me fall hit my knee on the hard wood floor. He walked in the bathroom to get something and I realized it something to put me to sleep. He poured the chemical into the towel as he mumbled to himself and I watched in fear. He pulled me from the ground and tried to make me breathe in. I fought the urge to. I thrashed back and forth trying to get free but nothing worked. Slowly, my vision got blurry and felt darkness overtake me.

I threatened moving back and he just chuckles "what wrong with you ?" I asked as a tear dropped from my eyes. "You think I'm scared of that knife. I enjoy pain just like I enjoy killing people."
