Leo Valdez and Nico Di Angelo are sent on a quest to save Aphrodite after her horrifying kidnapping from Olympus. The two are stuck together until she's found, with nobody else permitted to go. Nico can hardly deal with Leo's "ego", thinking he cares nothing more than to get a girlfriend. Leo is reminded of his past repeatedly during this quest, to the point where his act is see-through. How will the two survive the backbreaking journey?
This does have a bit of a crossover with Kane Chronicles, so if you haven't read at least one of the books, you might be a wee bit lost.
