A "The Walking Dead" Fan Fiction. I do not own any of the "The Walking Dead" Characters they came from the amazing writers at AMC. Meet Larie a seventeen year old who's ready for anything. One day she woke up to a bad feeling in her gut and as she search for her folks, she found them watching the news and what happens afterwards change her life forever. The world goes shit in a heartbeat but she was ready for it. She and her family disagreed on many things, Larie had made plans for this when she was younger with a few online friends just in case. As she storm out of her family's life to set off in her own way with her trusty dog she ends up meeting an unlikely group on the way. Can she trust them or will she keep going with her plan... or will a familiar face make her world stand still.

Alex wasn't expecting to see anyone out in the woods while looking for her next shelter. The two men seemed like obnoxious, loudmouth rednecks. The ones she had to deal with before shit hit the fan. But now, she rarely saw and dealt with people. She preferred it that way, getting close with people is too risky and will end with someone getting hurt. And going against her better judgment, she becomes close with these men, especially the man with the crossbow. This will be based off The Walking Dead but will definitely be different. I do not claim any characters from The Walking Dead, only the ones that I create. This story is rated R for foul language, gore, and sexual content. Whenever they are captured by a group, they cross paths with a stuck-up, crossbow prick named Daryl Dixon. Henry sees danger in Daryl. Amara sees something else. As they fight through this new world, an uneasy trust begins to form. But in a world where attachments are a risk, letting someone in could be the most dangerous choice of all. I changed the plot a bit to fit in more Amara x Daryl and to make more of a new plot while keeping the basics of the TWD season 1 plot. In this Daryl is late 20's- early 30's. The military fell too quickly, the city was overrun by the dead and now she was at an old quarry only a few miles outside Atlanta with her Sister-In-Law, Nephew, and her brothers best friend. On the way they met a few more people and now had a small group. She slowly grows close the the youngest Dixon brother, Daryl. When they get back from their hunting trip Daryl learns his brother was handcuffed to a roof and left in the city. But what had YN in complete shock and not knowing how to deal with it is the person who did it. Her brother was alive after she already Mourned his death. She blames herself for not double checking to make sure he was really dead or not. Luckily she has a list of rules and guidelines she has been working on as the days of living in a post apocalyptic world with the living dead to keep her busy.
